I am a multi-disciplined designer from Amsterdam, where I work and live. Illustration, graphic & fashion design.

In my work I love to portray some sort of order and control with a whiff of boho and contemporary vintage feel. I work with certain boundaries and then embrace the unexpected happening. Digital and analog.   

For use on textile, paper, screens or walls. I work on the graphic side of just about anything. I make illustrations for print and patterns, (look)books and logo's.

I studied. Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, finished in 2005. BA Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. I received a grant from the Mondriaan Fund, I made a fashion-art exhibition, I worked in film as a costume designer and stylist. I had a independent clothing label sold in various stores in the Netherlands and worked at a brand-strategy firm as an adviser.

Drawing is my first love, it once got me into art school. Later used it while I designed collections as a fashion designer: all the artwork around a collection, lookbooks, prints for clothes, thank you cards, etcetera. I loved it. Turns out I am now returning to that. I like to draw.
